Tu Futuro (Your Future)
La Plaza's Tu Futuro Program is an educational program dedicated to encouraging and supporting Latino youth and non-traditional students to pursue a post-secondary education.This is achieved through a series of bilingual presentations, workshops, individual consultations, and college visits.Tu Futuro provides students with important information about the college application process, financial aid and scholarship opportunities, and careers.In addition, students have the opportunity to participate in college visits, youth leadership conferences, education fairs, and other college-related events. In 2008-09, Tu Futuro served over 1700 unduplicated students and families in 15 area schools.
